Hand made in Colombia
MISTURA is a project founded by Pedro and Alejandra Perini (godfather and goddaughter), two industrial designers from different generations, united by a deep interest in natural materials, craftsmanship and Colombian artisan traditions.
From Colombia and Switzerland, they build a bridge between materials, production processes, and design approaches. The purpose of MISTURA is to design and develop objects that combine traditional craft techniques with a contemporary perspective. Each piece tells a story of collaboration and care, reflecting cultural, technical, social, and environmental richness.
We value authenticity, artisanal mastery, fair work, and the strengthening of local economies. This first collection was created in collaboration with two southern Andes, the region our family comes from, and the other in the north of the country. We worked closely with master women artisans specialized in crafting with iraca and estera palm, natural fibers with deep cultural and technical significance. Together, we aim to create objects that are functional, aesthetically refined, and rich in symbolic meaning, rooted in time, identity, craft, and local development In future collections, we hope to explore new processes and materials in other regions of Colombia, as well as to integrate knowledge and practices from Switzerland, creating a true fusion between both worlds.
